Wiz Khalifa refused to speak on the "Deen The Great" situation

Wiz Khalifa was asked directly about the "Deen The Great" situation at today's Trulieve meet and greet in Squirrel Hill, and didn't answer. Here's what actually happened when First Impressions TV caught up with him.
Wiz Khalifa was back in Pittsburgh today for a public meet and greet at the Trulieve in Squirrel Hill, and First Impressions TV co-owner StoneyIsland was there to ask him the question a lot of Pittsburgh has been asking since last week: what actually happened with Deen The Great.
What Started This
The situation traces back to a clip from Deen The Great’s Locked In-athon, Day 77 of 90, Fight Night Tryouts, where Wiz Khalifa was a guest. In it, Wiz is heard allegedly telling Deen that artists and celebrities shouldn’t perform in Pittsburgh, a statement that stood out given Wiz’s own history with the city he’s repeatedly credited with raising him. First Impressions TV covered the clip when it surfaced, but was careful to note it hadn’t been independently confirmed beyond what was visible in the stream footage itself.
What Happened At The Meet And Greet
Today’s meet and greet at Trulieve was publicly announced on Wiz’s own story, and StoneyIsland was on the ground for it around 12:45 to 1 p.m. He got the question in directly, getting up close enough to ask Wiz about the Deen The Great clip before security moved in and pushed him away from Wiz shortly after.
Wiz didn’t answer the question. What he did say, according to StoneyIsland, was something to the effect of needing to go inside and handle his business, telling him he’d talk to him after. That follow-up conversation never happened.
So while “refused to speak on it” captures the outcome, it’s worth being precise about what that looked like in the moment: not a defiant no-comment, but a deflection and a promise to circle back that didn’t get kept before Wiz was pulled away.
Where This Leaves Things
Nothing about the original Deen The Great claim has been confirmed or denied by Wiz directly, and that’s still true after today. What’s new is that he was asked about it to his face, in public, and chose not to engage with it, intentionally or because the moment simply didn’t allow for it with security moving him along.
First Impressions TV will continue to follow this one. Watch the full moment from today’s meet and greet above!
